This is my all-time most favorite drink ever! I have a bit of a habit and have been buying 2 of these a day for at least a year. I have tried to find the blend they use so I can make it at home for quite sometime with no luck. Finally I saw that Starbucks sells 1 gallon sized bags on their website and it’s exactly the same blend and bags they use in the stores! So today is an awesome day as it arrived.

It and I feel good about it. It’s insane thinking about how much money I’m saving by doing this.

This year our Christmas gift giving to Matilda was slightly delayed for various reasons as Matilda was with her mom over all of her Christmas break this year. We made the decision to wait until after she got back instead of doing it early. Since Matilda just got home tonight we just exchanged gifts (well, more us giving her stuff and not any of this her giving us stuff business). Here’s a before and post pics. I’d say she scored pretty well this year! Nothing huge just a bunch of cool small things (including banana flavored Pocky that sadly isn’t vegan).

This is what I woke up to this morning which is generally the sign of a good day (and it was). Banana stuffed vegan french toast topped with a strawberry puree.
The vegan french toast is something we’ve struggled with for a while, trying to find a good one. There’s always something a bit wrong (it doesn’t help that we have Pick Me Up Cafe in Chicago setting the bar high on this one). But this… This might be the best yet thanks to Vegan Yum Yum!
Kara was awesome enough to buy me one of these for Christmas this year. She also got me a few smaller ones which I used for coffee this morning. Pretty amazing. Kept my coffee nice and warm but barely felt the warmth on the outside of the cup. Kept a cold drink nice and cold too and ZERO condensation!
